Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide drumline and marching percussion enrichment for K–12 students. These are non-employee opportunities with flexible, assignment-based schedules and on-site teaching at partner schools.

Contractors may choose assignments, materials may be provided, and compensation is based on completed instructional hours. Start dates occur throughout the school year, with typical 10-week assignment lengths and 1–4 hours per week after

Qualifications

At least 60 college credits, where required by the assignment.
Experience in drumline, marching percussion, or music education is preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills are essential.
Availability to provide services for the accepted schedule and communicate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate engaging drumline and marching percussion sessions.
Introduce students to rhythm, technique, ensemble performance, and musicianship.
Adapt instruction based on student level, site requirements, and available instruments.
Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and communicate needs to Concorde and staff.
Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session.
