Job summary

The Boys Club of New York BCNY is seeking a Drums Teacher to deliver on-site music programs at our clubhouse located at 321 East 111th St, New York, NY 10029. This is a part-time, non-exempt position offering 16 hours per week.

You will supervise activities for groups of 10–21 boys aged 7–21, lead half-hour sessions, conduct both group and one-on-one instruction, and document progress with annual pre/post observations while maintaining attendance records.

Qualifications

• Education and teaching experience in the instrument you are applying for.
• Professional musicians with performing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in youth development education or afterschool programs.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Clubhouse Director the Drums Teacher is responsible for on site program delivery which is set in either one on one or group sessions.
