Job summary

The Boys Club of New York in the Bronx is seeking a Drum Teacher to deliver on-site music programs for youth aged 7 to 21. Reporting to the Clubhouse Director, you will conduct one-on-one and small-group sessions in state-of-the-art studio spaces.

Responsibilities include supervising groups of 10–21 boys, recording observations, maintaining attendance, coordinating end-of-season performances, and engaging parents when needed. Prior teaching or professional musician experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and teaching experience in the instrument you are applying for
• Professional musicians with performing experience preferred
• Previous experience in youth development, education, or afterschool programs

• Record annual pre- and post-observations
• Keep attendance records

Job Summary
