Job summary

The Boys' Club of New York Inc. is seeking a Woodwinds Teacher to deliver on-site program sessions at our New York facility.

The role involves one-on-one and small group lessons, with approximately 15 hours per week and participation in ensemble activities in a modern studio setting. Reporting to the Clubhouse Director, you will record observations, track attendance, and help coordinate end-of-season performances.

Qualifications

• Education and teaching experience in the instrument you are applying for.
• Professional Musicians with performing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in youth development, education, or afterschool.

Responsibilities

• Teach half-hour sessions per working day scheduled (one-on-one or small group).
• Record Annual Pre and Post Observations.
• Keep Attendance Records (Parent outreach when needed).
• Work in small groups for end of season performances.
• Care of equipment in State-of-the-Art studios.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a group of 10-21 boys (ages 7-9 or 10-12).
