Job summary

ITW is seeking a diligent machine operator to work on site in a manufacturing setting. You will safely operate multiple machines, follow setup specifications, perform quality checks, and handle changeovers and troubleshooting to keep production on schedule.

The role requires lifting up to 65 pounds, loading reels, and potentially using forklift equipment. A strong safety mindset, reliability, and teamwork are essential for meeting production targets and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Training on Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery required.
• Able to lift approx. 65 pounds continually.
• Able to load/unload reels safely into/out of machine.
• Able to meet/exceed specified production rates.
• Meet safety, attendance, and time management expectations.
• Excellent quality record.
• Excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork.
• Forklift experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and identify/correct unsafe situations.
• Follow process specifications for machine setup, production, and packaging.
• Run multiple machines.
• Perform specified quality checks.
• Complete machine setup, change over, cast/sinewave adjustments, and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
• Place nonconforming products on hold.
• Perform rework.
• Perform restock and housekeeping.
• Willing to train on and operate other machines/processes as necessary.
• Read and update schedule.
