Job summary

ITW in Troy, Alabama is seeking a production operator to support packaging drum and tubular wire manufacturing. You will run packaging equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and efficiency on the line.

The role requires following process specifications, completing setup and changeovers, and collaborating with teammates to meet daily production targets. Training on additional machines may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow schedule and process specifications.
• Able to lift approximately 65 pounds repeatedly.
• Demonstrates strong safety awareness and attendance.
• Reliable team member with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines per Route Card / process sheet and schedule.
• Run multiple machines and perform specified quality checks.
• Complete machine setup, change overs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Place nonconforming products on hold and perform rework as needed.
• Restock and maintain housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Read and update schedule and cooperate with team to meet production goals.
