Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking a Music Teacher to deliver lessons under the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, helping students grow and enjoy music. You will foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, and respect while expanding student count across the store.

You will partner with the Lessons Lead, teach various instruments (drums, guitar, keyboard), and support customer service to build long-term relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in music, education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching.
• Strong communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student headcount and ensure growth and enjoyment in music.
• Support store culture of integrity, inclusion, and respect.
• Assist with customer service and retain long-term students with great experiences.
• Partner with Lessons Lead to schedule lessons and manage community needs.
