New Paths, Inc. in Flint, MI seeks a part-time Client Care Technician to administer drug testing and manage medication responsibilities. The role reports to the SAT Supervisor and requires ensuring test integrity and proper documentation.

The candidate will handle patient interactions, coordinate with pharmacies, and maintain inventory while following contract obligations and policy guidelines.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification for assisting clients with medications.
• Successful completion of urine testing training.
• Strong written communication and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to interact appropriately with clients, DOC staff, and referral sources.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Mansioni

• Conduct urine drug testing for individuals referred to New Paths, Inc.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Document each test consistently according to policies and procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork/data entry for New Paths and contract holders.
• Serve as a communication link between Department of Corrections and referral sources and New Paths.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the SAT Supervisor.
• Medication processing: entering medications, times, and instructions into the computer system.
• Assist clients with medications at designated times, including refills and follow-ups.
• Purge medications of discharged clients and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Maintain inventory of client and OTC meds, first aid items, and safety supplies.
• Coordinate pickup of sharps, biohazards, and pharmaceutical waste.
• Support and adhere to the NPI Code of Ethics and safety policies.
