Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is seeking a Hands-on Manufacturing Lead to own and optimize drug product manufacturing operations at the Billerica site, while supporting the SAP S/4HANA rollout.

This role bridges Operations and Digital Transformation, ensuring that manufacturing processes drive system design, adopted on the shop floor, and sustained in routine operations. The role requires GMP expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and drive to improve safety, quality, and delivery KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or engineering field (Chemical/Industrial)
• SAP PP/PI implementation expertise
• Strong GMP and regulatory understanding
• 5+ years in Pharma/Medical Device manufacturing or relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead design, mapping, and optimization of manufacturing processes in consultation with global process owners
• Translate operational requirements into SAP S/4HANA configuration with Digital/IT collaboration
• Validate master data from an operations and GMP perspective
• Lead FIT-GAP, testing, and UAT to ensure readiness for manufacturing execution and integration validation
• Train operators, update SOPs, and support hypercare for stable operations
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Liaise with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT for aligned operations
