Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Drug Diversion Program Analyst to support the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program through surveillance, auditing and data analysis activities. You will monitor diversion-related data, identify trends and support early detection of drug diversion and regulatory non-compliance to protect patients and staff.

Using diversion prevention software and reporting systems, you will analyze data, prepare reports and assist investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with medication dispensing technology (ADC) and EMR.
• 3 years in a pharmacy technician role.
• OH/MI pharmacy technician licensure.
• PTCB certification; PTCB advanced certification within 1 year of hire.
• Bachelor's degree or competency in IT/data systems (preferred).

Job Summary:

POSITION SUMMARY The Drug Diversion Program Analyst supports the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program through surveillance, auditing and data analysis activities. You will monitor diversion-related data, identify trends and potential risks, and support the early detection of drug diversion and regulatory non-compliance to help protect patients, team members and the organization. Using diversion prevention software and other reporting systems, you will analyze data, prepare reports and assist with investigations related to controlled substance monitoring. Working with stakeholders across ProMedica, you will help strengthen diversion prevention strategies, support regulatory requirements and promote safe medication handling practices. REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of medication dispensing technology (e.g., ADC) and the electronic medical record system, and the ability or willingness to work competently in the diversion software system.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with pharmacy, nursing, anesthesia peers, and colleagues.
• 3 years in a pharmacy technician practice role.
• OH/MI pharmacy technician licensure.
• PTCB certification, PTCB advanced certification within 1 year of hire.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated competency in IT/data systems.
