Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a full-time Drug and Alcohol Case Manager to join our Lebanon Team. You would provide a full range of case management services to clients with substance use disorders.

Main duties include conducting intakes, screening, linking to resources, and coordinating with local emergency rooms, probation, and community resources to support recovery and re-entry into the community.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing or related field.
• Or a Bachelor’s Degree with 18 college credits in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related social sciences.

Responsibilities

Description

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a full time Drug and Alcohol Case Manager to join our Lebanon Team!

In this position you would be working with drug and alcohol clients providing a full range of case management services.

Main job duties would include:

• Conduct intakes, assessneeds, link to resources


• Screen and assess to determine treatment options


• Work with local emergency rooms and first responders to connect individuals with services and resources


• Work within the community to build relationships with resources


• Provide ongoing support for sustained recovery from substance use


• Collaborate with other team members to ensure individual needs are met


• Work with local probation, state parole and county correctional facility to ensure individuals' needs are met upon re-entry into the community


• Work with local community eventsto provide support to the local recovery community


• Collaborating closely with drug and alcohol inpatient and withdrawal management providers to facilitate admissions and support discharge planning
