Job summary

Midwest Fitness Partners seeks a Drop Team Member to support the drop and count of currency for Video Poker machines under supervision. Responsibilities include securing currency, counting drops, operating counters, and preparing deposits.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, cash handling experience, must be 21+, and able to pass drug/background checks and obtain a video poker gaming license.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain video poker gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Open, remove and secure currency from the machines.
• Counts machine currency drop and tickets.
• Operate electronic currency counter and counter equipment.
• Records currency from each bill acceptor.
• Prepares currency drop for verification and daily deposits.
• Prepares and creates reports in the computerized accounting system.
• Must prepare deposit in a timely manner.
• Informs supervisors of any discrepancies or variances.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information.
• Completes drop/count during regular shift.

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in a fast paced environment with a high noise level. Some work is performed in a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
