Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in an early childhood setting or other classroom setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care to children within Drop-In Child Care following agency policies.
• Implements processes for pick up and drop off and ensures adequate coverage.
• Partners with staff to ensure care availability during participant needs.
• Communicates effectively with guardians about incidents as necessary.
• Ensures the drop-in care space is well maintained and supports children's needs.
• Provides front desk coverage for Riverside Coworking, ensuring quality customer service.

Skills

Knowledge of the Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards

Knowledge of best practices in child development

Knowledge of Windows operating system

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Ability to learn new software

Education
