Job summary

The Center for Transforming Lives is seeking a Drop-In Floater to maintain a safe, welcoming drop-in environment for children, ensure accurate registrations, and support a high-quality early learning setting aligned with the Texas Minimum Standards Outcome Framework for Birth to 10 years old.

The role is part-time, with evening and weekend hours, a 30-minute lunch, and a 20-hour work week. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of basic child development concepts.
• Ability to interact professionally with adults and families.
• Pass a pre-employment/periodic background check and TB test.
• Demonstrate alignment with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise and ensure health, well-being, and safety of children.
• Implement appropriate age activities and routines.
