Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies is seeking a compassionate Project Assistant to support the daily operations of the New Beginnings Drop-In Center. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with individuals in recovery and helping create a welcoming, supportive environment that promotes community integration, empowerment, and self-advocacy.

Project Assistant - Drop-In The Project Assistant will work under the direction of the Project Supervisor and assist with Center

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals in recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consumer-chosen activities, groups, recreational events, and projects.
• Facilitate recovery-oriented, psychoeducational, and social activities.
• Assist with community outreach and recruitment.
• Support Drop-In Center Advisory Board meetings and volunteer activities.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain records and receipts for Center activities.
