Using their lived recovery experience, the aide will facilitate activities aligned with the 8 Dimensions of Wellness and assist the Program Coordinator to maintain hours and organize supportive programs.
High School Diploma or GED required
Have a current driver’s license. Be willing to participate in peer support specialist and/or recovery coach training for certification.
Lived experience with recovery either with a diagnosis of mental illness or co-occurring diagnoses and willing to be open about your experience.
The Drop-InCenter Aide shall have the responsibility to make members feel welcome, providea non-judgmental atmosphere, and promote social wellness. The full-time aidewill facilitate scheduled activities within the focus of the 8 Dimensions ofWellness, utilizing their lived experience and journey to recovery. Thefull-time aide will assist and support the Program Coordinator to maintainhours of operation and ensure supportive activities occur as scheduled. TheDrop-In Center Aide shall be responsible to the Program Coordinator or othersupervisory staff as designated by the Chief Executive Officer.
