Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support the Drop Forge department in Missouri. You will evaluate cost-effective manufacturing methods using existing equipment, lead tool design and process development, and drive Lean improvements to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, with forging experience considered a strong plus. Proficiency in CAD, SAP, and MS Office, plus good communication and safety focus, is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Forging experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Drop Forge operations to determine cost-effective manufacturing methods.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues.
• Prepare justification for capital expenditures.
• Lead or assist tool design and process development.
• Develop cost-saving projects and participate in Lean events.
• Lead quality initiatives including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product engineering on changes/new product introductions.
• Investigate safety and ergonomic improvements.
• Provide technical support and training to direct labor.
