  • Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and product issues. Analyze performance data and process trends to identify improvement opportunities. Support non-conformance investigations related to process deviations or customer complaints.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure process compliance with industry standards and accreditations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, NADCAP). Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Metallurgy to maintain and improve process capability. Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and process documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing: Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to support workflow optimization. Identify and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives in production environments. Reduce waste, enhance throughput, and improve safe work practices through structured improvement projects.
  • Documentation & Standardization: Develop and update work instructions, process flow diagrams, and setup sheets. Maintain accurate process documentation for audits, training, and traceability. Standardize forging practices across shifts and equipment to ensure repeatability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support: Provide technical support to production operators, tooling teams, and maintenance. Assist in troubleshooting forging processes, and material handling issues. Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning and PPAP activities for new product launches.
