Job summary

Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino is seeking a Drop/Count Team Member under the Drop Count Supervisor to perform drop and count processes for Gaming Machines, open and secure currency, and ensure compliance with policies.

This role requires high school diploma or GED, 18+ years, ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, English proficiency, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. Background check and gaming license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior count room or money handling experience preferred.
• Operate calculator efficiently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and any shift.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Must pass background check and receive a gaming license where required.

Responsibilities

• Complete Drop/Count during regular shift.
• Open, remove and secure currency from the slot machines.
• Follow drop/count policy and procedures and deliver documents to audit.
• Report discrepancies or variances to supervisor.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Prepare and bundle currency.
• Maintain good attendance.
• General upkeep of the Count Room.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance of Count Room equipment.
• Work with others, communicate well and receive direction to achieve department objectives.

• Responsible for completing Drop/Count during regular shift.
• Responsible for opening, removing and securing currency from the slot machines.
• Responsible to follow all drop/count policy and procedures and accountable for all necessary documents to be delivered to audit.
• Responsible for reporting discrepancies or variances to supervisor.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Must be able to prepares and bundle currency.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Responsible for the general upkeep of the Count Room.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance of the Count Room equipment.
• Must be able to work with others, communicate well and receive direction when needed to achieve department objectives.
• Performs other duties as required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER

• Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
• Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.
