Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Repairer to keep drone aircraft ready for field operations. You will repair electrical, avionics, propulsion, and fuel systems, and supervise maintenance of wiring harnesses and RF paths.

You’ll also maintain payloads and RF systems essential for takeoff and landing. Part-time role with paid training and a path to civilian career opportunities in aerospace and defense sectors.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be between ages 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, avionics, propulsion and fuel systems of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and oversee wiring harnesses and RF paths.
• Maintain optical payloads, weapons systems, electrical systems, RF systems, and takeoff/landing systems.
