Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Rochester, NY seeks an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Repairer to keep drones flight-ready, repairing electrical, avionics, propulsion and fuel systems, and maintaining wiring harnesses and RF paths.

You will train through 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 17 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, earning a paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance and other benefits. Eligible candidates must enlist, be 17–35, and have a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard and meet eligibility criteria.
• High school diploma or GED required; junior in high school acceptable.
• Age between 17 and 35 and able to pass a physical exam and meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical, avionics, propulsion and fuel systems on Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
• Oversee maintenance of wiring harnesses, electrical components, and radio frequency paths.
• Maintain optical payloads, weapons systems, and takeoff/landing systems.
