Job summary

Fotokite US LLC in Boulder, CO seeks an UAS Support Technician to diagnose, repair, and test drones and electro-mechanical subsystems. You will disassemble/assemble units per manuals, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback to engineering teams.

Strong attention to detail and experience with sensitive electronics in an ESD-safe environment are required. The role emphasizes hands-on repair, ongoing process improvements, and maintaining organized service records, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in drone repair or related field.
• Ability to assemble complex electro-mechanical systems using engineering drawings.
• Fluency in English; experience in an ESD-safe environment and handling sensitive electronics.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics, repair, and functional testing of drones and subsystems.
• Disassembles and reassembles products according to manuals and drawings.
• Troubleshoots issues and communicates with engineers and other technicians.
• Identifies and replaces defective components (motors, sensors, wiring, PCBs, etc.).
• Documents repair steps and maintains service records for QA.
