Job summary

ICONMA, LLC. is seeking a Production Assembly Technician for Saint Paul, MN to build and test electro-mechanical drone sensor assemblies, including cameras and stabilizing gimbals. The role supports scheduling, defect elimination, and collaboration with engineering to improve processes.

Qualifications include a 2-year technical degree (or 2 years of experience), Part 107 within 3 months, and proficiency with MS Office; Creo CAD is a plus. Health benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Electronics or 2 years of experience.
• Part 107 certification acquired within three months of employment.
• Ability to interpret requirements/drawings/instructions independently.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, Creo a plus.

Responsibilities

• Component build, integration, and test of electro-mechanical drone sensor assemblies.
• Support production schedule planning, ensure timely completion of orders, help eliminate defects, and work with engineering to improve processes.
• Hands-on design documentation and transition of mature designs to factory production; maintain existing designs.
• Wired assembly and box build; production design updates; design for manufacturing.
• Develop and provide external documentation to 3rd party manufacturers.
• Electrical hardware collaboration to specify size/shape, connectors, indicators, and user inputs.
• Flight testing and system checkout & test.
• Ensure delivery of defect-free product; maintain material supply for production.
