Draganfly Inc. in Merrifield, Virginia, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support the construction, testing, and maintenance of prototype and production sUAS. You will assemble mechanical and electronic components with neat, repeatable workmanship.

This in-person role requires attention to safety, quality, and independent work, with collaboration from engineering teams and occasional travel to events.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; hands-on skills accepted in lieu of formal education.
• Skilled at soldering and wiring harnesses for small electronics.
• Knowledge of drone assembly methods and fasteners.
• Experience with common hand and power tools; attention to detail.
• Basic software troubleshooting on electronic devices and radio/data links.
• Ability to follow build plans and schematics precisely.
• U.S. Person per ITAR requirements due to export-controlled work.

Mansioni

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components in a repeatable, organized manner.
• Maintain, operate, troubleshoot sUAS and related equipment; test assemblies.
• Set up tests, evaluate components, and modify as needed.
• Install and troubleshoot software/firmware for electronics.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses and PCB assemblies; soldering tasks.
• Operate CNC, thermoforming, and 3D printing equipment with training.
• Document manufacturing records and maintain clean, safe workspace.
• Support engineering with manufacturing, testing, and product development; travel for events.
