Job summary

Auterion is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Test Engineering team. You will program test software, document test procedures, and own verification and production test equipment for scalable drone platforms.

You’ll design automated test solutions, jigs, and adapters to improve yield and reliability, collaborating with software, electronics engineers and OEM partners. In this hands-on role, you’ll advance test coverage and reduce testing time, balance transitions from existing setups to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years programming software that runs on real hardware and testing on real hardware.
• Proficiency in modern Python and C/C++ for embedded systems.
• CAD experience (Onshape) and soldering skills are required.
• Linux, microcontroller programming, 3D printing and prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and build test solutions, including auto generated, 3D printed test equipment and CNC milled jigs.
• Plan and execute product verification with test case definition, execution, analysis and documentation.
• Write Python code and STM32 firmware to test embedded products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing and validation of avionics PCBs.
• Document additional manufacturer tests and write Repair Guides for error cases.
• Guide manufacturers with new product integrations, usually in person at the factory.
