Job summary

BRINC is seeking a Production Technician in Seattle to hand‑on assemble drone hardware, perform precision soldering, and troubleshoot prototypes and production units. You will read schematics, follow detailed instructions, and collaborate with engineering to improve processes.

The role starts on second shift with transition to days as needed. You will handle cables, wiring, and component installation, while upholding strict quality standards and safety practices across all builds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in avionics/electronics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions and technical manuals.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand or be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using schematics and instructions.
• Read or create assembly work instructions and liaise with other departments.
• Perform micro-soldering, rework and reflow tasks.
• Build prototype models per technical guidelines.
• Install cables, wiring and splicing as needed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment.
• Run tests and interpret results to inform repairs or improvements.
• Maintain records of assembly processes, testing results and modifications.
• Provide feedback on design or process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet production goals and follow safety protocols.
