Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking UAV/drone pilots to work for our Himmel division in Houston, TX. A background in forestry or arboriculture is beneficial but not required.

Personnel will perform herbicide application along rights-of-way and roadsides and must be able to lead a small team in operations. Requirements include the ability to work in inclement weather, interpret maps, operate a laptop and radios, and hold a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting maps and following field navigation instructions.
• Ability to operate a laptop, radios, and mobile apps in field conditions.
• Valid driver license with clean record required.
• Must be able to travel overnight and work extended hours.
• Experience in vegetation management, tree knowledge, or drone operation is a plus.
• Candidate with a Part 107 drone license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform herbicide application along rights-of-way and roadsides as directed.
• Lead a small field team during operations.
• Work in inclement weather and varying terrain.
• Utilize maps, GPS, and apps to plan and execute daily tasks.
