Job summary

Valcourt Building Services is seeking a Drone Operator to manage Lucid Bots Sherpa Drone for pressure washing and window cleaning on mid‑rise to high‑rise buildings. You will perform safety inspections, analyze surfaces, and maintain advanced drone equipment.

Ideal candidates have FAA Part 107 certification and proven remote‑pilot experience, plus strong communication skills for client interactions and team coordination.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 certification required for commercial drone operation.
• Experience operating drones for commercial applications, preferably in pressure washing or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of drone operation laws and building safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for drone equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness and precision.
• Ability to transport, set up and manage drone equipment.
• Basic understanding of building facades, pressure washing techniques and water management.
• Strong communication for team collaboration and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drone for pressure washing and window cleaning on mid-rise to high-rise buildings.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections for safety and compliance.
• Analyze building surfaces to tailor cleaning strategies.
• Maintain control of the drone to ensure safety and avoid property damage.
• Follow FAA and OSHA safety protocols.
• Prepare site-specific work plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure environmental compliance for runoff and water management.
• Document processes with photos and client reports.
• Report issues and participate in resolution processes.
• Coordinate access, water sources, and project schedules with teams.
• Communicate with clients clearly during the project.
