Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician in Bondurant, IA to maintain drone aircraft, perform routine service, and ensure safety and conformance to design. You will work with engineering, flight operations, and other Prime Air teams to deliver on assigned responsibilities.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
