Job summary

Amazon Prime Air seeks a Flight Safety and Compliance Officer to ensure safe, compliant drone delivery operations. You will serve as the local safety expert, conducting audits, maintaining records, and coordinating with WHS regulators to promote a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety at delivery sites, investigating incidents, and reporting findings to leadership. Willingness to travel and obtain FAA Part 107 within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Flight Safety, WHS, and Flight Operations regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, or 1+ years' safety experience at Amazon.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Audit flight monitors, ground crew, and operations to ensure safety standards.
• Monitor safety at Prime Air delivery sites and investigate incidents.
• Maintain records for flight crew as authorized.
• Serve as the main contact for WHS regulatory partners during inspections.
• Analyze operations data to identify trends and risks.
