Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking a field technician to install, maintain, and repair drones and docking stations at customer sites across the San Antonio area. You will diagnose faults, replace components, update firmware, and perform scheduled maintenance.

The role requires independent work outdoors, driving to client sites, and occasional overnight travel. Training and certifications are provided free of charge, with paid first job and remote specialist support.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronics repair, RC or FPV drone building, avionics, low-voltage systems, or similar hands‑on work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in drones, docks, and charging systems.
• Repair or replace propellers, motors, electronic speed controllers, batteries, gimbals, and cameras.
• Update firmware and calibrate equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Follow lithium battery procedures for storage, charging, transport, and disposal.
• Record faults, repairs, replacement parts, and follow-up work.
• Keep spare parts available and report recurring problems.
• Explain repairs and next steps to customers.
