Qualifications

• 1+ years of direct people management, including performance management and employee development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
• Work a flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Can work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including working outside in outdoor temperatures and refrigerated environments
• Experience working in a fast-paced operations, logistics, manufacturing, or production environment
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and take action to improve results
• Can show a demonstrated record of good attendance and the ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Lead and support teams across flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery performance
• Drive key operational metrics including safety, quality, and delivery efficiency
• Monitor real-time operations to remove barriers and maintain system uptime
• Partner with Operations Managers and cross-functional teams to execute staffing and operational plans
• Develop and coach associates, and provide clear escalation and communication during active operations
• Directly manage a team of hourly associates, overseeing scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day coaching and development
• In partnership with HR, address associate relations matters including attendance, performance concerns, and corrective action while maintaining timekeeping, headcount tracking, and staffing records
