Amazon is seeking a Prime Air Area Manager in Ohio to lead daily operations at a drone delivery station. You will manage hourly associates across flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery metrics.

The role may require travel up to 25% and involves staffing, coaching, and cross-functional partnership with HR and Operations Managers to sustain compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of direct people management with performance development.
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, automated logistics/production environments.
• Experience reviewing performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, or holidays.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures and outdoors.
• Strong attendance history and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-line teams across flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment.
• Ensure safety, quality, and delivery efficiency; monitor real-time operations.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers to execute staffing and plans.
• Provide coaching and employee development; address attendance and performance concerns.
• Maintain timekeeping, headcount, and staffing records; escalate as needed.
