Job summary

ADVOC8 is seeking Promotional Specialists to engage attendees in St. Louis, MO, delivering hands-on demonstrations of drone delivery services at local retailers, markets and events. You’ll educate residents about how autonomous drone delivery works and collect feedback.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, reliable, and comfortable speaking with individuals and groups. This contract role requires weekend and holiday availability, local travel, and the ability to set up a 10x10 tent.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and engage consumers as individuals and within a group.
• Self-starter/entrepreneurial in nature, able to create opportunities within an event.
• Able to receive and process detailed information and rehearse scripting points.
• Willing to take direction on site and arrive on time for events.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays; local travel required.
• 3–5 years of promotional staffing and/or event production experience.
• Access to internet and a smartphone or computer to submit recaps and photos.
• Minimum 18 years of age and legally able to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for set up and ensure setup is accurate and engaging for consumers.
• Check in with Market Manager before leaving and after events as training outlines.
• Facilitate consumer questionnaires about drone delivery experiences and preferences.
• Engage consumers in a friendly and energetic way.
• Distribute branded POS materials as outlined in training.
• Break down and pack program materials and drone for transport.
• Submit expense receipts and post-event recaps; ensure accuracy.
• Review all recaps for accuracy and completeness; upload photos.
• Communicate results and propose enhancements to optimize growth.
