Job summary

GLOBAL EMS is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site Windber, PA facility to lead cross-functional projects spanning design, production, and quality. You will optimize PCB assembly, soldering, and testing processes to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability for drone camera/optics applications.

The role requires strong experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and data analysis, with collaboration across design, production, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project production efforts to ensure completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Partner with design, SMT, and production teams to resolve process and technical challenges.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans that align with business goals.
• Communicate progress to internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Supervise or mentor project team members to promote accountability and collaboration.
