DMR Technologies in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Drone Assembly Technician with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude to build and test UAVs. Position Overview

DMR Technologies is seeking an Entry-Level Drone Assembly Technician with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a desire to develop hands-on technical skills in drone manufacturing.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, assembling equipment, troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems, and learning how things work.

Prior drone experience, hobbyist drone-building experience, or an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is a plus—but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Candidates with backgrounds in automotive repair, electrical work, electronics, industrial maintenance, robotics, aviation, or hands-on technical hobbies are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following:

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Previous drone, UAV, or UAS experience.
• Experience building, repairing, or flying drones as a hobby.
• Experience with RC aircraft, robotics, or other electronic systems.
• Mechanical, electrical, automotive, or industrial maintenance experience.Soldering, wiring, electronics assembly, or troubleshooting experience.
• Aviation, aerospace, or manufacturing experience.
• Technical school, vocational training, or relevant hands-on coursework.
