Job summary

DMR Technologies in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Entry-Level Drone Assembly Technician with strong mechanical or electrical aptitude to build and test UAVs. You'll assemble components, follow assembly instructions, solder and wire, and help with testing and quality control. No college degree required; training provided.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and team players excited to learn drone manufacturing. Prior drone experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, and configure unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drone components.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and basic electrical connections.
• Install motors, propellers, landing gear, sensors, cameras, batteries, and other drone components.
• Follow assembly instructions, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Assist with drone testing, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Identify mechanical or electrical issues and assist with repairs.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Support production, inventory, and other manufacturing activities as needed.
