Job summary

Askari Defense, Inc. is seeking a skilled drone assembly and fabrication technician to build interceptor drones and run the fabrication lab at our Atlanta, Georgia facility.

You will assemble airframes and mechanical subsystems, fasten to spec, and produce parts on 3D printers, laser cutters, and desktop CNC machines. The role is hands-on, with growth into higher-volume production and eventual fab lab ownership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical assembly skills with precision hand tools.
• Hands-on drone/RC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble interceptor drones end to end from raw airframes and printed parts.
• Operate and tune FDM and SLA 3D printers, including slicer setup and print troubleshooting.
• Laser cutting and desktop CNC machining of plastics, carbon fiber, and wood.
• Maintain fab lab equipment, calibration, and documentation for traceability.
