Job summary

Infravision is seeking a Drone Technician to maintain and troubleshoot drone systems, cameras, and air subsystems for field deployments. This hands-on role supports readiness, testing, and documentation while partnering with pilots, engineers, and operations teams in a startup environment.

You will work across electrical and mechanical systems, helping ensure air systems performance and safe deployment of assets in U.S. field operations. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in field environments.
• Experience with drones, cameras, and related subsystems.
• Background in aviation maintenance or engineering technology preferred.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces.
• Experience as aircraft mechanic or drone servicing technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, maintain, and prepare drone systems for operational readiness.
• Support troubleshooting across air systems, including drones, cameras, communications equipment, and subsystems.
• Lead or assist with root cause analysis for air system issues, component failures, field performance concerns, and recurring technical problems.
• Coordinate with Drone Pilots to ensure drones and related equipment are ready, properly configured, and available for field operations.
• Test components, verify repairs, and support system checks before equipment is released for operational use.
• Cross-train with technical team members to build deeper understanding of air systems, components, troubleshooting methods, and system performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to inspections, repairs, testing, equipment condition, and maintenance activity.
