Job summary

TerrAvion seeks an engineer or experienced technician to keep our worldwide operations running smoothly. You will join the team managing flight operations for our aerial imagery data collection, with expansion plans in multiple time zones.

Responsibilities include maintaining deployed collection systems, troubleshooting hardware, and deploying software updates. Occasional travel and the ability to fly with our systems are required.

Qualifications

• Field troubleshooting of computer and electrical systems.
• Experience with Linux systems and hardware quality control.
• Willingness to fly and travel 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deployed collection systems, including hardware, cable harnesses, and software.
• Inspect, repair, and replace components on deployed systems.
• Deploy software updates to deployed systems (OS, libraries, and collection software).
• Diagnose and resolve routine system problems to support Operations.
• Determine when problems require engineering intervention.
• Test new features during flight operations.
