Job summary

Allcare Transportation Services in Raleigh, NC is seeking reliable drivers for non-emergency medical transportation. You will pick up clients from homes or facilities and transport them safely to medical appointments, hospitals or clinics.

You will assist passengers with boarding, securing mobility aids, and ensuring comfort and well-being during transit, while performing pre-shift vehicle checks and following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Prior NEMT or passenger transport experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual and reliable; able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Pick up clients from home or care facilities in a timely manner.
• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities.
• Ensure comfort, safety and timely arrival while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers).
• Perform vehicle inspections before each shift and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
• Report any vehicle issues to management.

We provide safe, reliable and compassionate transportation services for individuals who need assistance traveling to and from medical appointments. Job Responsibilities

• Pick up clients from home or care facilities in a timely manner
• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and timely arrival of passengers while providing excellent customer service.
• Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers)
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure clients comfort and well-being whilst been transported
• Perform vehicle inspection prior to the start of every shift ensuring that vehicle is clean and well maintained
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to management

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be 25yrs or older
• Must have current BLS certification
• Previous experience in transporting clients particularly in NEMT is preferred
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable, punctual and reliable
• Must pass background check, alcohol and drug test
