Job summary

PowerPak Civil & Safety LLC is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to support our Baltimore metro operations. You will deliver a variety of items, load and unload vehicles, and maintain logs while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including 401(k) matching, paid time off, and annual salary increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow routes and schedules.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
• Physical stamina to lift 30–50 lb repeatedly is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to various addresses and follow time schedules.
• Load, unload, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Maintain logs and reports; collect payments when required.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards; assist customers as needed.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure accurate quantity and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Where required, collect payments and inform customers about new products and services
• Pick parcel & pallet orders and prepare for dispatch
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards

Skills

• High school diploma
• Able to read and write in English
• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver, with at least 5 years of experience
• Valid professional driver’s license with a clear driving record, including no traffic violations
• Good physical strength and stamina. Must be able to lift 30lb - 50lb boxes frequently
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent and punctual
