Job Purpose

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to clients or other company facilities. This role combines driving duties with warehouse functions such as loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer sites.
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks; inspect material for quality requirements.
• Stock and transfer material, tools, and equipment to appropriate storage locations as per predefined sequence.
• Mark material with correct identifying information.
• Transfer material to and from shops for modifications.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package as per requirements.
• Pull orders for delivery, load onto trucks, or transfer using forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Prepare shipment documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air Shipments.
• Follow safety policies, guidelines, and training.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Report hazards, injuries, or illnesses immediately.

Qualifications

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to learn safety regulations, basic computer skills, and basic math and reading skills.

Additional Qualifications

• Legal work status documentation.
• Proficiency in English for communication and safety instructions.
• Understanding and compliance with company policies and codes of conduct.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a warehouse environment with physical activity, lifting, exposure to noise and extreme temperatures, and operation of heavy machinery. Overtime and weekend work may be required. PPE is mandatory.
