Helix Electric has a need for a dynamic Warehouse Associate / Driver. The successful candidate will support a production-driven team.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

• Manage warehouse receiving and shipping
• Manage warehouse inventory
• Manage processes and procedures for receiving and shipping
• Practice safe driving habits
• Safely haul materials and equipment to jobsites
• Utilize defensive driving practices
• Maintain awareness of potential jobsite hazards
• Ensure efficient delivery of materials and equipment
• Maintain a sense of urgency for safe and efficient deliveries
• Inspect and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
• Maintain a clean driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Work in all elements, depending on location and weather conditions
• Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves) always; respirator when required
• Work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, including overtime and night shifts as needed
• Perform essential functions such as crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, lifting objects over 50 pounds, pushing, and pulling
• Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
• Physical work constitutes more than 70% of the job
