Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 24+ months driving a 22’ box truck or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of LTL and full truckload logistics.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift safety checklist and report times.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be removed or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customers.
• Adhere to all safety requirements; wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouseand daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process,dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesaleHVAC distributorships.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be removed, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
