Job summary

White Cap is hiring an experienced CDL A Driver in California. The role emphasizes safe, on-time delivery to customer sites, compliance with DOT rules, and accurate paperwork. Company benefits include comprehensive health options, retirement plans, and paid time off.

A Hazmat cert and forklift cert are preferred; Spanish language skills are a plus. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, competitive pay, and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck (>26,000 lb GVW).
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Perform other duties as needed.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency
