King Asphalt, Inc. is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill an Asphalt Distributor Operator position for our local operations.

This is a highly skilled position involving control and operation of the Asphalt Distributor/ Tack Truck. Successful candidates will operate and maintain equipment, perform minor servicing, and complete required paperwork efficiently. The role may require working days, nights, or weekends and entails contributing to paving prep, patterns, grades,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Must have a valid South Carolina CDL Class A or B with a tanker endorsement.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently. Drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt distributor and tack truck.
• Load and unload distributor equipment.
• Apply tack or prime correctly on paving projects.
• Maintain and service equipment; refer major problems to supervisor.
• Perform related duties such as setting line and basic shovel work.

ASPHALT DISTRIBUTOR OPERATOR / TACK TRUCK DRIVER King Asphalt, Inc. is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill an Asphalt Distributor Operator position for our local operations. This is a highly skilled position involving control and operation of the Asphalt Distributor/ Tack Truck.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

May oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment Loading and unloading distributor Proper application of tack or prime Possess a solid understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction, and other details related to asphalt paving The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor. May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience required. Must have a valid South Carolina CDL Class A or B with a tanker endorsement Must have proof of current DOT physical High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid South Carolina driver's license Employer conducts drug screening and background check
