Description

• Supervise drivers and oversee their activities related to loads, DOT logs, and hours of service.
• Assign loads and coordinate driver schedules.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• At least 12 months of dispatch experience.
• 6 months of experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Working knowledge of truck load transportation and DOT regulations regarding logs and hours of service.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.
• Good attitude towards drivers and ability to work well with them.
• Decision-making skills and ability to follow policies.
• Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Valid CDL license and dependability.
• Able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol test.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required; a four-year degree is preferred but considered in combination with work experience.
