Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Driver Supervisor to lead transportation operations for a major construction project supported by an onsite portable concrete plant. We are seeking a Driver Supervisor to lead transportation operations for a major construction project supported by an onsite portable concrete plant. This role is responsible for managing a team of professional drivers and a fleet of trucks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery performance while meeting customer, project, and operational requirements.
Lead and coordinate daily driver and fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries.
Supervise, coach, and develop drivers while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service.
Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle readiness, and transportation performance to maximize operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, project requirements, and safety standards.
Collaborate with plant, production, quality, and project teams to support customer expectations and project schedules.
Demonstrated ability to lead transportation operations and manage driver teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of fleet management, dispatching, transportation logistics, and regulatory compliance.
Proven capability to prioritize safety, manage resources effectively, and achieve performance objectives.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with drivers, customers, contractors, and internal partners.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing operational demands.
Competitive base salary ranging from $94,265 - $109,349 and participation in our annual incentive plan.
