Job summary

Imperial Brady in Catano, PR is seeking a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver to join our transportation team. You will be responsible for a daily route of stops, unloading and delivering merchandise to customer locations, and delivering exceptional service.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 am until completion. A valid CDL B, ability to pass DOT medical exam, and a safe driving record are required, along with minimum one year of CDL B and route delivery

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL B).
• Must pass a DOT medical exam.
• Clean driving record and safe operating history.
• At least 1 year of CDL B experience and 1 year of route delivery experience.
• Experience with manual pallet jack/hand truck; lift gate preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds; maintain stamina for daily routes.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 24’ box truck (26,000 GVW) safely and professionally.
• Load and unload cargo using hand pallet jack and lift gate.
• Deliver products to customer-designated locations and provide excellent service.
• Accurately track and document the delivery activity log.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report issues to dispatch.
• Maintain positive communication with customers.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:0 am to finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
